As you will see from many web sites, pretty much every beach is clothing optional in Spain.

Its very much go as you please anywhere outside some of the main town beaches.

Try this for starters:

I'm going to Almeria region a bit further down the coast in July, (Spanish air traffic strikes permitting), and you can certainly pick any beach down that coast, all of which are stunning.

Good luck.

Yes there is a good naturist beach near  ,Gran Alacant, Alicante, which is just south of alicante. It's called Carabassi Beach, is an official free beach.

Googled Calabrassi and got this:-
"The golden sand Carabassi beach is 12 km south of Alicante and east of Elche in the area of Gran Alacant
Carabassi beach is a Blue flag beach. Some areas are rocky and some more sand dunes
The more remoter beach areas are nude and some Gay beach areas"

Keep On Smiling:)

A long time ago we used a beach at Kalpe as we stayed there. Beach just south of Kalpe down by port in village outside Kalpe.

Was a bit narrow and at base of tall rock face but stayed like that at high or low tide.

Not sure of route in now but, we usually have a nose for finding way.

At time we used Phil Vallick's Free Sun Beaches guide....shows how long that was as pre internet.

Hi all
We use a naturist beach just North from Alicante, nr Javea, its called Playa Ambollo, just off the Cap De Lau nau, if you do a search on it's name you should come up with it. On the down side, it's all pebbles and down from the parking area some way, but the sea is clear and attracts snorkelers, but is classified as a naturist beach.
We'll be there late June/July this year.

We ussually go to El Rebollo. Beautifull sandy beach, 5 km long and very wide, Plenty of people and space. It's between La Marina and Guardamar del Segura. We will be going on July for two weeks

simply follow the signs for the airport , you will see large urbanisation on the coast , drive past the shops and bars and head toward the lovely beach and park. walk to the left and find your space , dunes behind you . not busy but glorious, mainly families and  single blokes but safe with only occasional textiles. places to eat and drink within 10 minutes.

Love light and Peace ( as Spike would say)
