can only echo what has been written We have just returned from our 3rd trip to Fuerte. Stayed this time in Corralejo and visited the vast expanse of sand next to the"two hotels" each day.

The best recommendation we can give the island is that we will be returning again and again!!!

be nude be happy

I went to the dunes between the two hotels for the 4th time in May of this year, going back for another visit on 24th August this year and for another two weeks on the 16th May 2012. I can't get enough of that lovely beach.

Glad it's still as popular with naturists.

We have booked to go to Fuertaventura in January 2012, has anyone any idea what the temperature might be about that time of year? We are staying in Corralejo but will have a car, so can travel. As it will be our 1st time on a naturist beach for about 35 years, my wife would like to go where there are some people but not to many...any advice would be very appreciated....  πŸ˜•

We have been to Corralejo many times, usually around May and September time so cant help with the weather I'm afraid although have been to Lanzarote that time of year and well, i wont go any further in case i upset you, it may have been a one off or twice!!! :'(
Corralejo beach is great with the dunes etc, never packed unless you go down by the two Riu hotels.  Head out towards the dunes and you can get as near or as far away from people as you wish, and if your sharpish in the mornings grab yourself one of the stone circles.
Have a great time I'm sure you will, if you want to know more drop me a line?

Your making me jealous :'( we're not back out there until September next year, which seems for ever away!!  We do have a week break booked for Boa Vista in Cape Verde in Feb, only thing is i'm not sure that there are c/o beaches out there, didn't see any on Sal when we were there, although the beaches are big so probably get to a quiet spot if needs be?  May have to ask the question.

We have just returned from "Fabulous Fuerte".

We had a week in the south and visited Sotavento Beach (south end) then a couple of beaches off the dirt track on the Jandia peninsula. The Germans definitely have the upper hand in the South, but we got on fine.

We then moved on to Corralejo and visited Corralejo beach/dunes and then over to Los lagos beach at El Cotillo.
We loved Los Lagos Beach.
Make sure that you visit it if in Fuerte with a car.

El Cotillo beach is also lovely and the beach cafe has named itself and the beach "conche beach", which is actually a bit rude in SpanishΒ  [smiley=oops.gif]

We shall definitely return. The island has so many beaches and all are naturist if you wish, although outside hotels seems to be a Nono. πŸ™

This island is where i experianced my first time nude outdoors with eyes everywhere! Im a shy guy and took a couple days to pluck up the courage, but it turned out to be amazing! I stayed in the Riu hotel ( corralejo) on beach but after the first experiance i was back on that beach bright and early everyday!  What a fantastic place, so relaxed so naturist friendly i felt! Will be back there asap 2012!! πŸ™‚

If anyone can recommened elsewhere on island id be very grateful πŸ™‚

Hi PaulandTina, do you have a link to this place? Id very much like to see πŸ™‚ i stayed in the Riu hote (Corralejo) last time but the hotel was textile.  It would be nice to have a full naturist friendly hotel to stay too πŸ™‚
Many thanks
