I agree it was a fair bit of work. Sadly 'Devon Rob' doesn't get online at the moment so progress has ground to a halt.

I have tried to get it to open within the NC website, but no luck. I know there is a way but don't have time to learn that bit. So if anyone can help with getting it embeded + API which I believe is needed, now is your chance to be recognised! 🙂

Maybe I'm lucky. I clicked on the link, chose open whist I had GE open, and hey-presto there it was. I then choose to save it in GE. ie I saved it from the temp places folder. You can switch the file on or off at any time.
Hope you manage it next time.

I'm glad you found it easy, some members have had problems. Maybe your instructions will help others, many thanks.

I didn't word my post very well, what I would like to do is embed GE & Rob's kmz/kml file into the NC website so I can use a tab and have it open much like the Membermap.

When i get time, I'll attempt it again.

Big thumbs up to Devon Rob - excellent resource.
But he seems to have left out all the naturist beaches in Northamptonshire  🙁 😉

You are right Nick, I hadn't noticed that before.
Rob paid us a flying visit at the weekend, and said he hope's to get back on NC Forum in the next few weeks.

When he does, we can all have a whinge about that. Maybe he didn't bother with them as I'm sure we all know every naturist beach in Northamptonshire already. ;D ;D ;D
