For anybody visiting Swansea and using these naturist beaches on West Gower it may be of interest that there is a bus service which reaches almost as close as you can get by car.
Get the 118/116/119 from the centre of Swansea to Llangennith for the naturist end of Rhossili or Llanmadoc for Whitford Sands - not all buses go that far but there are seven connecting buses each way in summer with the last one back at about 10 o'clock - so you can round off a pleasant day's naturism with a meal at the Kings Head or Britannia before returning to the city.
Note that if you take the 118 all the way to Rhossili (its final destination) you will be faced with a 3 mile walk along the beach to the naturist end.

Hi John. We went to Llangennith (happened to be near) a few weeks ago and parked at the caravan/camping park there. How far from there is the nudie section of Rhossili Bay or is it best to go to Whitford Sands? Saw a lot of surfers where we were!

It looks to me as if you were pretty close at the caravan park.

Rhossili is primarily a surfing beach with a short stretch at the northern end which is reported as being used by naturists, but which I have never used myself.
I have often used Whiteford Sands with my wife in the past, but now having easy back garden naturism I have not been down there for several years. I am assured though that it is still regularly used naked.
Park in the farmer's field honesty box parking just off the lane from Llanmadoc church to Cwm Ivy.
