A beautiful beach close to Barmouth  in North Wales.

We went for the first time last year twice. first we went on our own and found a beautiful spot in the dunes to Sunbathe.

2nd time we went we met up with another naturist couple close friends of ours and we camped on Benar beach, this site has a naturist camping field, very basic but does have shower and toilet facilities on the textile field adjacent.

please feel free to email me for more info.

I've been there.

Sadly it was so bloomin' cold and windy that we didn't take off our polar fleeces, never mind anything else.

I'll have you know that I can well remember a day in August 2003 that was sunny! In any case, we welsh dwellers only consider rain to be sunshine that you can bottle.  ðŸ˜Ž

As the old saying goes.......

"If you can see the hills, it will rain. If you can't see them it is raining"

Don't get me wrong though...we love Wales! Booked two naturist breaks there this year.

I'll tell you how sophisticated we are in Wales, everyone elsewhere in the UK, calls non-naturists "Textiles" . We call them "Welsh Dressers"

How easy (and long) is it from Colwyn Bay as we are there in the summer?

It is probably a good couple of hours+from Colwyn Bay, particularly in the summer!

There is an unofficial beach on Anglesey which would be closer I think.

I can also vouch for this beach - very nice area, lots of sandy beach and dunes. Spent a couple of days there last spring, sea was a bit chilly but otherwise weather was good. I was advised to keep out of the dunes as apparently these are popular with 'doggers' and gay couples (not that I have anything against them, but that's not my scene). The beach was plenty big enough for everyone without being crowded or feeling overlooked, hope to get there again sometime.

This is indeed a great beach, lots of open sand, and quiet when I went. But a beautiful day in the middle of June.
Cheers

We've kept very quiet because we didn't want to offend anyone but the true spelling is Morfa Dyffryn. It's the bloody Welsh idea of a joke.

I have heard that PC Plod has decided nudies are a danger to society and not allowing nudity on this beach any more (not arresting, just enforcing) and making an effort to stop it. Can anybody confirm/deny as it was my best hope for our trip to Wales in a couple of weeks time?

Morfa Dyffryn is my favourite beach too.
Wonderful clean sand, gorgeous sea.

Spent many a lovely day there with my husband.
Other people are friendly there too and people often stop by for a chat.

Watch out for the cowardly MeerKats in the dunes though with their binoculars and cameras!

Back again!!!

Morfa Dryffyn is fantastic.

A really great beach where you can walk for a good distance naked without any problems.

The dunes do attract a few wierdos but don't let that put you off as there are alwasy lots of genuine naturists about who are usually very friendly.

The weather can be a problem but most of the UK is like that so get on down there and have some fun.
