Many years ago I used to visit a beach at Saltfleetby in Lincolnshire.  I noticed it is not listed in the beaches.  Does anyone know if it is still used by naturists?

Just found this post hence apolagies for late reply, I was based in Mablethorpe for the last 2 years and often wandered up there when the sun was shining with the dog.

Its a fantastic beach and often took 20/25 mins at low tide to get to the shore line. Never saw any naturist activity on the beach but i often had a swim or paddle in the sea or the mass of sea water that formed huge pools at low tide.

I believe that the dunes were popular with one or two naturists in this area, and also with one or two people with "other" interests...

I was there a couple of weeks ago on a Monday. Not that many people there, and there is plenty room to spread out. It's been about 4-5 years since I last went and the dune seem to have changed/moved/got bigger. The scrub area at the back of the dunes which was the 'gay area' seemed to have been cleared.
There are two ways to get to it:
1) From car park at Mablethorpe, near the caravan park and small zoo near the sea front. Head to the beach and turn left - walk for ages.
2) From Saltfleetby end look for a sing on the main road that say 'Beach'. The road goes down to single track running between two fields and curved around to the right. At the end of the road is a car park and a path to the beach. Get to the beach and turn right - and walk for ages..

The beach is popular with dog-wallkers and meercats. It's unofficial but tolerated and has a 'beach warden' of sorts.

They're out there....
