There is actually a beach used by naturists near Blackpool.
It is between B'pool & St Annes. It is used by a few dedicated locals.
Not sure if it is too much hassle though as the Lancs police are under orders to tow a hard anti naturist line from the fiasco at Ainsdale over the Ribble.
The police don't hassle the regulars that I know though.

First of all we are from Blackpool and love it, (well someone has too). I find some of the comments a bit harsh, sure you get idiots in every town (in our case usually tourists), but the council have been tidying the place up, whilst a lot of the seafront is being re-developed at the moment I am sure when completed it will be beautiful. As for the nearest official naturist beach, well it's morffa dyfredd in Wales (sorry if spelt wrong) I have heard of some people using the sand dunes south of Blackpool near the old Pontins, but this is unofficial and we have never tried it, so can't comment.
