THANKS FOR REPLYING SO QUICKLY- ALI- IT IS JUST IDYLLIC- AND AT THIS TIME OF YEAR YOU'LL NOT BEAT IT THIS SIDE OF THE CARRIBEAN-I'LL SAY NO MORE -JUST BOOK WITH THOMAS COOK-  OR WHO EVERS IS CHEAPEST ON THE DAY-IF YOU WANT A GOOD PLACE TRY c=COSTA CALMA IF YOU WANT UP-MARKET HOTEL- OR MONICA BEACH HOTEL ALL INCLUSIVE- MORE REALISTC PRICES AND VERY GOOD FOOD- AND DO NOT NOT READ THE TRIP ADIVSOR REPORTS ABOUT MONICA BEACH - THEY'LL SQEW YOUR ATTITUDES TO WHAT IN REALITY IS A GOOD HOTEL AND VERY GOOD STAFF  BUT HOTEL DOES NEED QUITE A LOT OF REPAIRS- BUT THE PLACE-STAFF ATTENTION AND FOOD AND ALL INCLUSIVE REGEIME LEAVE ALL THOSE FAULTS BEHIND- SOME REPORTS ARE FROM BRITS WHO WANT BRIT FOOD AND FOOTBALL- THEY SHOULD GO TO A BRIT ORIENTATED HOTEL- THIS CATERS FOR DEMANDING GERMANS AND FRENCH- AND AS WE LEFT THE left the PlACE LAST OCTOBER  THE HOTEL/APPARTMENTS WERE NEARLY FUL- YOU SHOULD BOOK YOUR CAR WITH AVIS--  ON LINE IS CHEAPER- AND BEWARE OF CHEAPER VERSIONS- YOU COLLECT AT LOS GORIONES HOTEL 2/ MILES DOWN ROAD-TAXI WILL TAKE YOU THERE AND AS YOU LEAVE THE HOTEL(EITHER ONE) GO  LEFT FOR MORRO JABLE- FOR A MILE OR SO AND LOOK FOR THE TRAFFIC ISLAND I DESCRIBED-  IT'S THE ONLY ONE BEFORE THE MOTORWAY- AND GO LEFT ACCROSS THE ROAD WHICH WILL BE QUIET - ONTO A STONEY ROAD- FOR HALF A MILE OR SO ON TO THE BEACH- YOU'LL SEE OTHER CARS THERE- PARK UP CAR- AS I SAID- THEN TAKE OFF ALL YOUR CLOTHES AND STAY NAKED ALL DAY AND WALK FOR MILES END EXPLORE - IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT -YOU MAY GO NAKED ALMOST ANYWHERE ON THIS ISLAND IT'S THE WAY SPANISH LAW ALLOWS-HAVE FUN YOU 2- BYE FROM TOWSER BUT DO KEEP IN TOUCH- AND YESS I'LL TRY THE CHAT ROOM- NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE  THOUGH- REGARDS FROM TOWSER

You could always try the Monte Marina naturist apartments, as these are close by.

Someone here has suggested Monte Marina Appts- further down the troad- nudist of course- and I had forgotten about them- worth looking up on the 'net- these appts are  also on Sototvento beach- but you  have a fairly steep climb up and down to get onto the beach- it is same- spotlessly clean and totally naked  for everyone- thought I'd signal you-- and how do I navigate my way into that chatroom?  You could arrange bus transfer from airport or just pick up a car at airport- and if you need directions- just ask! There is only one main road on Fuertaventura- North to South thro' some spactacular scenery including earthquake zones- if you know what to look for-Towser--

Has anybody tried Hotel Occidental. I have been told it has a naturist section.
Any comments appreciated.

We have just booked a week in Fuertaventura. This is where I will be making my 'debut' in public as a naturist. We are staying at Caleta,but we have hired a car so we will be visiting some beaches.

I am a North Fuerteventura fan myself.

Firstly there are the long beaches by the two monstrous Rui hotels on the East coast just South of Corralejo. Miles of nudist sand dunes with a scattering of beach cafes for which only a towel, g-string or light cotton wrap is needed (although I have been served when naked at one of them).

Secondly there are the coves north of El Cotillo in the NW corner of the island. Wonderful naked snorkelling and a beach bar reckoned by many to be the best on the island.
When we go in March we will stay in one of the apartments on the coves and on some days only one of us will need clothing for a few minutes to fetch the fresh breakfast croissants. The rest of the day will be naked except for a light wrap while enjoying a superb paella at the beach bar (needs to be ordered at least an hour in advance).
Why bother with getting dressed and driving when you can have times like these.

Note to admin - this is not necessarily a request for an enhancement - as far as I can tell the effort needed would be totally out of proportion to any improvement gained.

Been to North and South of the island.
I find that there is a sharper fall of the beach into the sea at the national park dunes,South of Corralejo.
Down south you can walk out about 10 yds and it's still quite shallow.
I am not a strong swimmer.
Caleta I believe is near Horizonte which both area's have NOT a naturist section. This is a textile area.

We have hired a car so we will be visiting the naturist sites,you'll spot us a mile off....we'll be the ones with white bodies lol.

As Long as they are white or brown and not BRIGHT PINK.  :-[

White ish at the mo,but we do tend to go brown instead of pink................hopefully!!
