at the end of feb i had a few days in spain near malaga, on the saturday i borrowed the brother in laws car and head for the hills. i aimed for one of the picnic areas in one of the national parks.  away from the villages the  roads were virtually deserted, i stopped by the nat park signs for a photograph and a wander up a dirt track.... which soon became too much up for me... so went back to the car and continued to the picnic area.  there were a few cars in the car park seemed to be a mix of locals who didnt move far and serious hikers who dissapeered up the main trail.... i rambled off up a minor track going up a different valley.... i was away from the car well over two hours and apart from a wandering goatherd in the distane saw nobody.... if id taken more water id have gone further.
