Hi

I had some free time yesterday afternoon and drove over to Weston (near Sidmouth).  I parked in the small NT car park and stripped off save for a pair of sandals - there were no people about.  As it was hot and sunny all I needed to carry was a pair of shorts.  I set off down the track towards the beach and almost immediately had to cover-up for a couple who were obviously returning from the beach - they were carrying wind breaks.

Once they had passed me I continued on my way (naked).  I passed 2 other guys on my way down the track, but they didn't seem to bothered by my lack of clothing, before slipping my shorts on for the last part of the path leading to the beach.  Just as well - I soon encountered another couple on their way up the path.

Once on the beach I headed to the west.  There were about 4 groups of textiles on the central part of the beach but once clear of them I was able to walk along naked again.  There were a number of naturists spread out at intervals along the beach.

I walked around the headland and the over the debris from the recent cliff fall to Salcombe Regis, where I encountered more naturists.  I covered-up before climbing the steps up from the beach to the coast path.

Again, as there were no people about I removed my shorts and continued along the coast path, which climbs the cliff, towards Weston.  I covered-up when reaching the cliff top after spotting a person in front of me.  It was another walker who turned inland; I probably needn't have bothered to cover-up.

I then walked across the cliff top and dropped down towards the beach at Weston before turning inland towards the Donkey Sanctuary.  There were still no people about and I didn't cover-up until reaching the outskirts of the Donkey Sanctuary itself.  The final part of the walk was along the lane back to the car park at Weston.

This was a very pleasant walk on a lovely sunny day with very few people about.  I look forward to repeating it in the near future.  Of course if I had more time I could have sat on the beach or gone for a swim (if the sea was warm enough).
