when at home recently I used my mobile phone to video Mandy doing some hoovering, unfortunately when i put it on the computer it was on its side!
I used windows live movie maker to turn it the right way up, but each time i save it, nothing shows on the save!

Hi Allan, when you say "nothing shows on the save" what exactly do you mean?

Also what format are you saving it as? A  project or "for computer, "for email" etc

Cheers,
Steve

Have I got this right?

It loads in to MoveieMaker ok, it plays ok albeit on its side, you turn it round and it still plays ok, you save it.

Does it stop working in MM once you've saved it or when you try and play it later with MM or when you try and play it with something else?

Have you tried "save as" a different format?

sorry we forgot to update this.
we redid the movie on windows live moviemaker and instead of saving it with the default name, we called it hoovering 1.
it worked! how easy was that lol

View with PC/Laptop window turned 90 degrees. That's in the video display setting I think- R click on desktop. Or turn monitor on side 🙂
