Can anyone recommend somewhere sunny to go on holiday with a new baby that would be close by a naturist beach and also getting supplies for the baby would be easy. We're planning to go in Sept.
In our experience previously naturist beaches are often a bit out of the way which would be tricky with our new family member....
Any suggestions would be most helpful.
thanks!

suggest you look at valalta or Koversada in croatia , mainly s/c but can go half board , both sites are large all naturist areas , extremely clean with a choice of pools at Valata. both close to towns Porec/rovinj and vrsar ( koversada. good mix of europeans and not too expensive when you get there. Brits are a little thin on the ground. Or look at Vera Playa in Spain. S/C or has a naturist hotel. Not a "closed area" like above but can choose to remain bare or textile on the beach . Croatia will not be as hot in september( some rain showers.) VP has large exellent Consum supermarket within 5 mins walk.more Brits here but still a good mix.
PM me for any specific qoestions . we have been going to croatia for 20 years and the last 5 bare and found VP 3 years ago.
Hope you find your dream jollies . Alan + Karen . x

Vera Playa in Spain would be ideal.

great thanks guys. i'll look up Vera Playa.
we went to Croatia last year and went to an island off Dubrovnik. was really beautiful but the rocky terrain wouldnt suit having a child at all.
I was looking up Formentera, would anyone have been there perchance? it looks beautiful!

Formentera is lovely. It was our first naturist holiday in 2003. We went in April which should be similar to September I guess for weather and busyness. The sea temperature should be ideal then. This is the nearest truly superb island to UK! Shops will be open and they have truly outstanding chicken and pork due to free range natural herb feeding. The people are lovely and serve a v nice herbal brandy liqueur at the end of your meals on the house. The downsides with a baby are longer travel due to needing to catch the ferry over from Ibiza. This is straightforward and pleasant but adds time. Also you really need some transport when you get there. If you are fit a rented cycle is fine but probably need a car with baby. Cars and accommodation are a bit more expensive than mainland Spain.

The main advantage of Vera Playa is that if you want to you can walk to everything you need, (often nude) in September. It is the best time of year to go for weather, especially with your baby. The sea is at it's warmest but the sun is still strong. There are beach bars where you can relax and even eat and not need to get dressed. There is a large supermarket (Consum) within easy walking distance.
These websites have tons of info and the second has a good forum.

However if you are staying any length of time you are missing out on some very interesting places all around you. If you rent a car you can go to markets, other naturist beaches, mountains, lovely small towns etc. Most people sadly miss this outstanding opportunity.
This is what has brought us back to the area time and time again. We prefer to stop at this little place nearby. http://www.casariovera.net/
You will never find better hosts and if you want total chill out with baby this could be the place. It is great for nude walks, short and long. You need a car.

thanks Nick for all the info. I was looking up Vera Playa, does one need to rent a car to get there?
the public transport seems a bit complicated for carting a nipper around...

VP does need a car to get from the airport , about 90 per week.
and yes the beach is better than croatia but both Kover and Valalta have fine sand areas . we are doing VP this July for the 4th time.
