I thought I had done this one a while ago but can't find it! Maybe I didn't look hard enough but.....
Our first time "for real" was in France on a beach. We had managed a bit of kit off sunbathing at home and had both been prone to skinny dipping when the opportunity arose so were open to the notion. When we got our first caravan and decided to venture into France I had a look to see if I could find a naturist beach in the area. I now know that isn't too difficult in France but we had a beach pointed out to us which was only a few miles from where we were staying; La Tranche sur .
We spoke about it before we left UK and left a couple of H&E mags lying around so the kids could see it was an OK thing to do. Once we arrived we set off to see if we could find said beach. We were heartened to see "Naturiste"signs pointing in the general direction of where we were heading. Once we unloaded the car of kids and stuff we trekked off to where we thought it was. Sadly it all appeared textile!!
Having lugged all our kit I was more than happy to set up and have a look around later. The kids just wanted to play!! I noticed a steady stream of folks heading along the waters edge to our left so had a venture and .... lo and behold here it was.
I went back to the others and we agreed to shift. So we all grabbed what we could; Shani had the kids, I had everything else, and off we set.
Once we arrived at the sign on beach that identified the naturist area our lad (8) whipped off his trunks, stuck them in his bucket and proudly carried on walking.
That was our first adventure and we loved it. The following year we headed off to Arna and the rest is hist.....
Wouldn't have it any other way now.
What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?
