I have a friend who works out on the island. She isnt a naturist herself but told me about it. I found a web page on the place and i think i does look really good, espeacially with all the water sports, white sands and great temps year round!
But....has anybody here have any first hand experiance?

Well, it's been quite a few years since I have been to Club O., but it was an absolutely wonderful place.  You can be nude 24/7, including the first rate restaurant, bar, and shop.  The beach and water are excellent.  There is no pool, but never missed it.  Staff was top notch.  Lots of water sports (all nude of course).  Hope to get back there sometime soon.  Hopefully someone with more recent experience will chime in.

I am going there In February. Last visited St Martin 40 years ago. At that time orient beach was totally unpopulated. It seems a lot different now.

Will report back on my return.

Was on a cruise a few years ago( 2007) and caught the local bus to Orient Bay.
Had contacted Club Orient prior to have a look around but decdided when we got there just to use the beach.
The naturist beach is outside Club Orient and it has a guard at the start of the naturist section to check if people have any camera's as there are a lot of textiles who walk along the sea edge in the naturist section.
But definately worth a visit, i beleive there is also a naturist beach in the french section of St Marten

Keep On Smiling:)

As promised I am reporting back on return from St Martin.

I spent two weeks at club Orient and have just returned. The only drawback I found is the length of the journey.

Club Orient has some 140 chalets and studios beautifully spaced out in the well cared for gardens. It has a shop well stocked with most essentials including meats and of course wine and beer.
Fresh french bread is delivered daily at 8 a.m. at which time free coffee is available in the shop.

Total nudity is acceptable, (and normal for about 90 % of all guests) at all times and throughout the property, including the shop and the restaurant/bar.

Most of the guests were Americans, who can be very loud at times, but all were very friendly.

The Beach is beautiful but can become very crowded with a constant flow of people up and down. I counted over 300 beach chairs available on the nudist section, and most days these were all occupied after 10 a.m.
As a guest of the club you have a reserved chair so no need to rush down at the crack of dawn to get one.

From sunrise (6.00) to about 8.30a.m. the beach is very quiet and if you like peace and quiet, that is the time to go for a walk or a swim.

I found the restaurant rather expensive, and was not impressed with the one meal I took there, so I cooked at the chalet. Kitchen equipment was basic and simple, but quite adequate for simple cooking. Also it was equipped with a microwave cooker which simplified many meals.

All in all I found the place extremely pleasant, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the whole holiday very relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants spend and entire holiday without clothes in relaxing and pleasant surroundings.
