Hi I clicked on an attachment . It was of a photo showing orbs caused by dust or something on a  digital camera.  The picture was opened by Windows picture and fax viewer.
For some reason I clicked on the forward arrow, and was surprised to see a random NC avatar. so I clicked again, another avatar, so I clicked again there then followed loads of photos that we opened on right move. After more clicks there was web site banners and loads more junk.
I went to disk clean up but it didn't do much.
Any ideas on how to clear all this junk off my computer.

It sounds like you are working your way through the browser's cache of images. You will always get this to some extent because each image on a web page is a separate picture file.

Depending on which browser you use, you can keep this tidy by choosing "empty cache on exit" or some such thing in the settings, or install ccleaner to do it for you.

Cheers,
Steve

I had a root Around after I posted this thread. I think I have managed to stop cashing thumbnails So I will have to see how it goes. I'm paranoid about disk space, so I'm always trying to free up my hard drive
