In addition to our other post (Lake Bled), does anyone know of any naturist campsites near Split please?

Plenty of beaches in the resorts around but the only 2 campsites (own units) on Hvar Island. Split itself, not overwhelmingly attractive.

Well I am removing this post from dust 🙂

I am from Split  so I will write about it.

Split is great 1700 yrs old town with plenty roman history inside. But for naturism is not good.

There arent official nudist beach, there are two "unofficial" beaches but they are full of gay peoples (i dont judge, but no thanx) and you cant be confortable. Many times there are incidents because of them and peoples who hates gays.
There is one part of beach in Split, but its not beach its big stones and there are couples and single peoples come to swim and suntan. Its not good to be nudist in Split.
If you want to enjoy you need to go around Split where are many beaches in smaller places (around 30km from Split, north or south)

We dont have any camp, nearby one is at island Hvar and Dubrovnik.

If someone want to come please be free to contact me and I will explain or show everything

This is an old thread but as anonimo replied I thought I'd add our experience - we did take the camper van to Croatia in 2012 for four weeks and had a great time. We would 100% recommend it to anyone (great people, fantastic coastline, warm sea, relaxed atmosphere, a lot of English spoken and where not just smile and politely point) and if you've got a camper/motorhome it is well worth the drive. It has the best autoroute I have ever driven - we took that east and then cam back slowly westwards along the coast.
We did virtually all the coast and loved the towns, including Split. Our naturism was actually confined to end of our trip on the areas of KRK and Istria where we stopped at naturist campsites to relax after wending our way along the coast. En route we stayed at textile sites, we didn't bother searching out naturist beaches unless we tripped over them.
Intending to go back this September.
