We have just returned from having a great weeks holiday in Cornwall. The weather was gorgious and we found a fabulous beach reached by walking through beautiful cornish country side. Strangles and Little Strand beaches are both sandy beaches between Boscastle and Crackington Haven in North Corwall just South of Bude. If you are ever holidaying in this area they are well worth a visit. The walk down from the layby is by a fairly steep path but the views are well worth it.

Directions: From Wainhouse Corner on the A39 going South take the B3263 to Boscastle after two miles look for a small signpost turn right to High Cliff this is a single road but with passing areas. After three miles you will find a small layby on the right, just before a farm. Overflow parking is in a field opposite. Follow the path down to the beach it takes about 20mins to walk down. There were a few people each day we were on the beach mostly locals Little Strand is the naturist beach. We spent three days on the beach because the weather was so good and loved our time there. 8)

Being semi- local always wanted to visit these beaches - will get there one day. Glad you had such a good experience & thanks for the detailed directions. Just like to add that Little Strand is to the right, or north of (main) Strangles beach which, according to one website can also be used on suitable (textileless) days.
