I took my family on holiday 4 yrs ago . We went to studland beach , my partner wanted to venture to the nudist part , at the time my 2 daughters Wer teenagers , we asked if they Wer ok with this , to which they said yes , I was very surprised how relaxed my 2 daughters became with alot of naked people around them . What a wonderful beach studland is and so clean . Only downfall was the walk from the road to the beach it's a long trek if you don't want to pay for the car park
Park on the ferry road. Just buy the bus stop is a walk which brings you out in the middle of studland beach. The last 2 years the weather has been so poor we haven't spent that much time there.
We managed to get to Studland beach when we were on holiday in Swanage last year. It seem like a great beach for a first time experience - great sand - shallow sloping beach and you can wade in the sea for a long long way out.
It wasn't really crowded when we were there and we were confident enough to strip off and enjoy the short amount of sunshine which broke through on the two or three days we visited.

well....considering that 2012 didnt have enough sun to get into the record books....its gotta be my van....iveco with all mod cons....self starter... lead lighting (pronounced led)...beer cooler formally fridge....etc etc etc
Lets hope 2013 weather will let us get closer to your van in colour Ricky, without venturing abroad.
I visited Studland last year and had a lovely time. I'd love to go back again soon, but it's a long way from Derbyshire.
