My first time being naked on the beach with other people about was at Fraisthorpe in Yorkshire.  I'd been taking my clothes off for years due to my dad being a naturist and always liking the idea of it.  My Mum had never liked it so it wasn't a family pastime and it wasn't till my teens and twenties that I got the chance to really get into naturism.

I moved to North Yorkshire in the early eighties and had heard that there was a naturist beach at Bridlington - I can't remember how I found out exactly where it was because it was more difficult then with no internet to check! However, I managed to find the location and set off by train to Bridlington.  I'm sure anyone who knows Brid will agree that it's a very long walk from the town three miles south to the beach at Fraisthorpe, but I was determined to find it.  I found my way to the coast and set off along the edge of the dunes.

It took ages but eventually I could see people clustered along the beach and suddenly there I was in the midst of quite a considerable number of naked people.  It was like heaven - I'd always wanted to be able to be naked in the open air and so it wasn't a problem for me to join them and so there I was naked for the first time in public.

Thirty years later, I've managed to visit beaches, clubs, spas and all sorts of naked places all round the world, despite having a textile partner.  I still have the same feeling of complete freedom when I get to a new naked place.
