It's cold and Mrs Red and myself are thinking about our June Hols. A week in the Dordogne seems to be a keen interest this year. This site is just over the border in Lot Et Garonne. Anyway not directly mentioned here, good ratings on ASCI camping card scheme, sister sites and organisation from Natustar is mentioned. All good positive signes.

Anyone on here have direct feedback and experience?

More inputs welcome from the folks here as it is very honest and useful...was for us last year anyway. 8)

We've stayed at Laborde a couple of times - September '12 and September '11. It's an attractive large 4*site with good quality facilities. Nice indoor pool, as well as a good outdoor one. What surprised us last year was just how busy it was in September, compared to other naturist sites we visited in our camper van. Excellent value with the ACSI card discount - €16 euro per night for two, inc electric hook-up and free wi-fi.

we have been to laborde about 5 years ago, from what i remember not a bad site, however it is in 2 sections upper and lower with quite a steep hill joining the two,so if you struggle with hills i recommend you stay on the upper part were you will find all the ammenites, reception, restaurant, indoor pool ,shop, etc.I would advise not to go to the far end of the lower area as this is where the sewage is treated and can get a bit"wiffy" on really hot days.around the area are some good market towns and a very good castle with excellent displays,I won't name them as i think this will take some of the fun out of exploration and discovery for yourselves,

Good hunting, petjac
