Has anyone visited Scabbacombe beach near Brixham. And if so what route did you take. We went there a few years ago and followed the directions set out on the Torbay sun club website.
The beach is quite nice, and convenient for us. But the walk down and back is a killer so we haven't used it since. Slapton is OK but it is a full day destination, And some times it would be nice to just nip to the beach for the afternoon.

I go to Scabbacombe quiet a lot when on holiday.
I agree it is a very nice beach but is quite hard going.
Don't drive so have to walk there,i use the coast footpath from Brixham.
