We have just returned from a very pleasant 3 days in Cornwall where I made two visits to lovely Pednevounder beach.
It is a clean sandy beach and was perfectly sheltered from the North Easterly winds. The mix was about 60% male and 40% female, with a few textiles (about 10%) happily occupying the west corner of the beach. There were at least 30 naturists on each occasion. Several even went swimming, although the water seemed freezing to me!

The access is difficult though. Only attempt the descent (and ascent!) if you are happy with a very steep climb. The last bit is a climb down near vertical rocks for about 30 feet to the beach. Always wear stout shoes or boots, it is not a flip flop type of walk! However, there were many, more mature, naturists there and one or two dogs made it with their owners, so, do not be too put off by my warnings!

There is a cave at the Eastern end of the beach with a natural cold shower installed!
The beach is about 250 yards long, plenty big enough for the inhabitants last weekend.

It is located at a tiny village called Treen, with its pub, car park and campsite (tents and smaller motorhomes (7'6" wide max.) only)

Approach the beach down the path which lies to the west side. You cannot access the beach any other way and definitely not from Logans Rock end. Also, keep your eyes on the tide as I would guess that your exit could be cut off if the tide was high and the sea rough.

Thanks for that report, it certainly looks gorgeous on the photo in Bare Britain. Cornwall does have a lot of scope but it's too far to travel for us.

That sounds a nice ratio of male/female for a change.

Yes, it was very relaxing and just how a naturist beach should be, with a fairly even mix of male/female.
The pics in Bare Britain do show the beach at spring tide, when there is much more beach exposed than you would normally get.

this is a great beach.
The best I have been on in Europe.
The walk is a bit scary but not as bad as it looks.
Cleanest beach anywhere, no meercats, mixed friendly people on beach, brilliant scenery.
We went to the Minack Theatre afterwards which overlooks the beach. Lovely day out capped by a basking shark sighting 20m from the shore.
