My first time, like many people I imagine, was on a secluded beach at teh Lizard, Cornwall and skinny dipping. That was some time ago now but recently I have become more...daring, if that is the right word.
I made several attempts to join clubs but as single male often came up against a brick wall. However, a swim club were very welcoming. Unfortunately work commitments restrict the time that I can attend sessions.
Feeling initially nervous, I had a very warm welcome and the feeling, as we all know, was great.
My first “public” naturist event was totally unplanned. I was walking along a beach in Portugal and suddenly realised that I was now on part of the beach where clothing appeared to be optional. So I stopped and stripped, sat in the sun and relaxed. After a few minutes I also noticed that people were not staring after all, it seemed to be accepted as the normal thing to do, so I eventually plucked up the courage to walk to the sea and swim, that meant passing through those wearing swim suits but the realisation that still no one considered it strange gave me the confidence to relax and enjoy myself. Now I look forward to future opportunities. That is in part, the reason for joining this site.
