this is the quickest way to the beach
head for the B.O.C of wales in margam follow the road past the b.o.c past eglyws nunydd reservoir till you reach the railway line park up and cross the railway line and follow the road past the lorry park and keep following the road past the fields and the the coal yard it will take about 15 to 20 minutes to the reach the beach this part is morfa beach turn left when you reach the beach and cross the river mouth and then your on sker beach nice and quiet down there and really nice when the sun is out

Does anyone have an idea of how I could get there from Cardiff?

I see that Pyle station is closest to Kenfig, but it still looks a fair way from that!

Any suggestions?

I have been here twice - both times parking in nature reserve car park. Its a nice beach to the east, but the western end (naturist) tends to be ruined by a lot of rubbish (tidal). I am still unsure as to the actual point the good bit starts.. just keep walking until you nudity  😉

The walk through the reserve is also very nice !!
