Went there yesterday and had a perfect time gently basting in the dunes. Not too hot with a slight breeze. From time to time in the past there has been attendance from the police, presumably because of complaints from the women golfers startled by the nudists whilst looking for lost balls!! Haven't seen any evidence of this policy so far this year but people should be on their guard.

Don't think so - West Beach is immediately west of the Arun estuary at Littlehampton. I thought that the naturism aspect had been stamped upon by the authorities in recent months.
I believe you reference to Climping Sands is further west - a continuation of the road from the Black Horse in Climping Village
