these are both in Northumberland, the first near Amble and the second looks across to Holy island, both are beautiful stretches of golden sand, the sea is clear if cold, and always a good idea to pack a windbreak as can be a bit windy
Yes both great beaches and hopefully this summer both attract more people and not just single men. Both Druridge and Ross have attracted families and couple's in previous years, but last couple of years its been in decline. Hopefully that was due to the weather! 🙂
Hi Kellyc, i was thinking of going to Druridge bay as I live on Tyneside but i've seen other posts on the forum saying it's not allowed anymore. Have you been recently? i'd love to go as i've only ever been to naturist beaches abroad and would love to get to a local beach without spending the best part of 3 grand
Hi terryfromshields.
I am going up there as soon as the weather cheers up, will let you know what is what.
Cheers,
Paul
Thanks Paul,
According to a lot of sites it's still used by naturists, it just seems alot of feedback is that it's been plagued by groups of single gay males looking for ' action '
Hi Terry,
Its worth a try, however It has had problems in recent years. I've used it in the past with my Wife on a few occasions, but before we would go again which is unlikely to be this year due to our newborn, Id want to hear positive feedback. Its a shame as genuine naturists had used it for years and some still will. All the best!
Hi I went to Druridge bay the other day and ended up being questioned by the police as "somebody had complained" about a naked man on the beach. No action was taken and the nice policeman gave me a lift back to my car; but that is my last visit there :-[.
