Was reading a book on British beaches and Ringstead was mentioned as having a naturist area. Has anyone experience of this beach near Weymouth?

I posted this a year or so back. Last time I stopped by there were annoying little flies from the seaweed. Otherwise its lovely but a bit of a trek for me. A welcome stopoff when walking the coastal path .
I spent an afternoon on this beach in 2009, I accessed it via the coast path eastwards from Upton stopping off at the shop in the main carpark which is on the west side of the bay.
The naturist section is the eastern most quarter of the bay to the west of the White Nothe headland and from the car park there is a choice of walking along the beach or following the coast path for just over half a mile then diverting onto another path which descends to join the beach about 250 yards west of the naturist bit the beginning of which was marked by a bank projecting onto the beach, although this may have eroded by now. Distance from the car park is about three quarters of a mile.
The beach was was stony - flat at the back then sloping steeply to the sea, the day I was there had strong waves and return undercurrent, quite treacherous for children, only two other naturists there when i visited but a couple I met as I left told me there could be a dozen or more on busy days.
Access is possible from the east, by diverting down a narrow zig-zag path from the cottages on the coastpath on top of the White Nothe then walking west along the scrubby plateau at the base of the cliffs until descending a ladder down to the foreshore about 200 yards east of the naturist beach.
