Hi, anyone any info on naturist beaches in Porec. Off on a non naturist holiday but would like to get the beach while there.
Hopefully quick responses as go within the week  😉

Pick up the ferry or a trip to the small offshore island (San Sveti) and walk to the opposite side.  Great sunbathing area there, or there used to be since it is many years since I was in Porec

The Cronatur site has a run down of all the resorts and beaches. Both of the textile sites Zelena Laguna and Bijela Uvala have beaches. The surrounding naturist resorts you should be able to visit for a day but they will probably ask for an INFBN card if you are a single male. The island is the Nikola I believe with the Fortuna hotel on it.

Sorry I can't give any reviews myself. I've only visited Porec on the bus to look at the town. However my parents many moons ago visited the beaches at UvalaLaguna, and they should still be as lovely as their accounts.

Do take a bit of time to see the mosaics in the Basilica, glorious.

We stayed in the Fortuna Hotel on St Nicholas island in Porec about 8 years ago. From what i can remember when you get off the ferry walk to you left not sure for how far but FKK (in faded paint) was marked near the path to the naturist section, though its not much further if you walk to the right. The area is rocky with relatively flat areas to sunbathe on. Recommend plastic shoes. We enjoyed ourselves there, the only downside was there was no air conditioning in the Fortuna.
Hope this helps.

Thans for the replies.  Staying at the hotel laguna mediteran was hoping the nearby beach may of had a naturist section.
Sounds like plenty of choice not far away  🙂

I am a little confused (not for the first time) whether the Plava Laguna complex which the hotel you are staying in is part of, there are loads of hotels there, actually has a nude beach or section on the nearest beach. Some searching around on the Plava Laguna official website says to me not, at least there is no mention of one and the Croats are not shy about mentioning them on their sites usually. You can check when you get there. I think your nearest option is Zelena Laguna. The Bijela Uvala textile site also has a beach.

You're welcome. As I have found out also, the one naturist beach is shared by the Bijela Uvala and the Zelena Laguna campsites.

Thanks again Brigitte.
I ended up emailing them through the site enquiry facility and this was the response :-
Dear Mr,

The nearest Fkk beach is in Camping Bijela Uvala (5km). The entrance is on charge.

Best regards,

I can just see most of our own tourist boards being that helpful.

Whilst it's not at Porec, we're staying at Camping Vestar near Rovinj next year with Roan holidays, for just £106 for a couple in a ready-erected tent, on a campsite with a lovely pool, on a beach, with a beachside restaurant overlooking a lovely bay.  Best of all the site beach, at the far end of the horseshoe, becomes a naturist area, so for just £53 each we can have a two week holiday and use the naturist beach nearby.
