A lot depends upon where you want to go.  I have used Magnolias in Grand Canary a few times, there is info about the place on the forum but i can't remember where however, this is the link to their web site.  http://www.canariasnatura.com/index.html

They don't do flights, but they do arrange transfers from the airport.  Wherever you go- have fun

With the demise of Peng there are not many options. Chalfont holidays I believe do many destinations, and Parasol specialises in La Grande Cosse. France 4 Naturisme deals with 11 resorts in France. That's all I know of off hand. But..as these companies are web based anyway and do not do flights?(correctable) you should do your own research to see what it costs and what you can do under your own steam, as the net is making the package more and more redundant. You could find a small naturist B and B to your liking for instance or find a better offer at a resort booking direct with them and flights to suit.

If you are going in October the Canaries are the best option, in Europe anyway.

For holidays in Formentera (just across from Ibiza) I understand there is (was) a firm called Astbury?

Astbury is still there but again you have to do your own flights. Have checked Chalfont and they will do quotations.

I haven't used any of these because I have never actually stayed at a naturist resort! Well, Valalta once illegally but I won't go there.. ::)

With the demise of Peng Travel, I can only think of Chalfont Holidays that offer travel-inclusive fully naturist holidays. However, there is another option to consider - depending on the type of holiday you are seeking.

This is just a suggestion. You said you'd prefer to go in October, and it has already been mentioned that the Canary Islands might be a favoured area to consider because of the warmer climate. It can be OK in southern mainland Spain, but equally there is a higher risk of the weather breaking and being cooler, cloudier and possibly wet.

There are a significant number of hotels in the Canaries that although textile, have a naturist sunbathing terrace; and there are a few that even have naturist swimming pools. Furthermore, many of them can be booked on a package basis through one of the larger tour operators such as Tui/Thomson/First Choice (all the same company) and Thomas Cook for example.

Fuerteventura is a particular favourite of British naturists. And it just so happens that there are three hotels in the south of the island, coincidentally next door to each other, that provide naturist pools, saunas and sunbathing areas. Additionally, they are all adjacent to a beach which can be considered clothes-optional (might require a very short stroll along the sand to find a suitable location on the shore to strip off).

The three hotels - Fuerteventura Princess; Jandia Princess; and Club Magic Life - are all available from Thomson Holidays.

Fuerteventura Princess is half board, Jandia Princess is all inclusive, Magic Life all inclusive and if you are into a lot of sporty activities especially that seems highly rated. Jandia Princess appears to have overtaken the Fuerteventura in popularity because it was refurbished in the last couple of years and Fuerteventura has not. Admittedly I have no feedback to offer, but I do know somebody who went to the Jandia several times and it was highly rated by him.

It's just as Brigitte says!

Last year we stayed at the Magic Life for a few days (as it happens, not on a package). And whilst there we had a mooch around the Fuerteventura Princess next door. The Jandia Princess was closed at the time, undergoing the refurbishment Brigitte mentioned.

We thought the Magic Life was very good and the naturist garden spa excellent, and it directly overlooked the beach some distance below - so fine extensive views.

The naturist zone at the Fuerteventura Princess, by contrast, is right down at beach-level, and although a good size, was so popular it was overflowing into the textile sunbathing area!

I saw on the BN members' forum some recent photos of the naturist area and pool at the Jandia Princess, which looked equally appealing since the refurbishment.

Is there any great difference in the sizes of the naturist areas or are they all roughly the same? Any more visually appealing than another? Have to admit, if I DID do a hotel, they might be my first choice, no pun intended, simply because they have all the facilities you could want.

As I recall, they are all fairly similar size, but if I had to rank them on that basis I'd say: Fuerteventura Princess (largest), Magic Life, Jandia Princess (smallest).

We'd feel comfortable and happy using any of them - and we were particularly impressed by the naturist garden, pool and saunas at Magic Life. The views over the sea were stunning. But there are quite a lot of steps from the hotel down to the beach.

Whereas, the naturist terrace and pool at the Fuerteventura Princess are right next to the beach, at the same level. Although the extensive grounds of the hotel are sloping, so it's still necessary to walk down hill somewhat.

I can't really provide much more detail about the Jandia Princess, except to say I think the nude zone is well above beach level.

Of course a determining factor might be whether you want half-board accommodation (Fuerteventura Princess) or all-inclusive (the other two).

I agree with Sunchaser on this in respect of the Princess hotels I have done both and my preference would still be the Fuerteventura Princess as it has a larger naturist bathing area, two naturist  saunas with stunning sea views and a steam room all in the naturist area. Access to the beach is also really easy with just a short ramp down on to the sands and then a short walk past the hotel beach areas brings you to miles of superb naturist beaches.

Thank you both for that very interesting and valuable feedback. As said on another thread I don't do hotels but tastes can change. I get the impression from reviews that Magic Life has a more cosmopolitan and mixed clientele than the Jandia. That and the views would possibly incline me to the Life, also there appears to be a lot of sport activities thrown in with no added charge. Having a lot to do on site would be an essential as I am well aware there is not a lot to do outside of the beach.

It perhaps doesn't look a lot from the satellite image, but this is the pool and garden at the Magic Life:

And this is the naturist pool area at the Fuerteventura Princess:

Life's pool has a very endearing shape. ;D

Obviously Princess's is bigger. Thanks for that perspective.

Of course Life used to be the Occidental which was always featured in the Peng brochure. It had a very good repute before the last year of operation when it sadly seemed like it was being run to the ground before being rebranded as Magic Life.
