That's the trouble with the lakes, some remote spots are not easy to get to.

I was there on Sunday and it is where she went. It's a beautiful place as you can see from the attached pic. Not too hard to get to but it is through a "No public right of way" sign which may or may not be true.

The water, as you might expect, is FREEZING!

Having heard Alice Roberts describe how it felt to swim nude inspired me to do it, although my skinny dip took place in warmer waters while on holiday in Crete. I will try to visit the site where she did the swim either later this year or next year. Thanks for showing where the site is.

Off to the Lakes myself next week. I will have to check it out as long as it's warm enough but I don't think my friend will be joining for a swim though she will just have to hold the towel lol ! Probably what she will do when I get out 😉
