I am thinking of trying the Studland beach at the end of June. Is there a car park nearby as I do have a problem with walking on long uphill slopes or a lot of steps.
It's all pretty flat, but walking on fine loose sand can be hard work. If the weather looks good, getting there early is probably the best advice, park on the road and walk from FP6 ( 20-25 minutes)

I usually find that it is best to park up at the knoll car park, wlak through those weird people (you know, the ones with bits of man-made fibre covering random parts of their bodies) straight to the sea. Then walking along the sea edge, although a long way, is both flat and firm(ish). Much easier than trying to walk the soft sand.
Boundaries are there to be stretched!
I agree with barelee, I've parked at the knoll car park, and although a bit further is much easier. Also having parked on the side of the road before, I had more peace of mind parking in a car park.
Thanks for you information. It was very useful. I am Ok on the flat.
