Decided to take a friends advice and go fishing in Lincolnshire, wife was working for the bank holiday weekend so went on the web and looked at a site called Lakeside. well thats where my mate said was good to go! had to laugh, never give it a thought when i saw it was a naturist site, he is a hardened fisherman, he would do anything to get on the bank. Yes you've guessed it there is a another Lakeside fishing place in Lincolnshire, just the naturist one was top of the page.

I hitched up my caravan after booking online and set off, only experience of naked people was on at the beaches on holiday at La Palmyre in France on a family holiday 20 years ago, and no I didn't feel brave enough then. Drove to Lakeside and at about 4 miles to go pulled the car over and sat there.

Two little men on my shoulder, Is this really you was shouting on one shoulder, the other saying "go for it" you can always leave if it doesn't work out.

On I go, turns into the site and down the drive, hmm naturists in the camping area sat out on chairs. Then a tall man walks up to the car, with everything (how can you say) fully displayed at my height in the car, remember look at his eyes i'm thinking. Intro's over, sighted the van by the lake, Hot tub has a few in it. Laughable now but kept my shorts on as I set up the van, thinking the first thing they see of me is my derrière as I screw down the legs.

Took the plunge in the van and stepped out. Shown round the site and then settled in, when I eventually strolled over to the hot tub, the welcome was warm and friendly and that is how it has been ever since, have been back since, and on a couple of beaches fishing and catching all over tan in Devon. The naturists I have met have been straight forward honest friendly people, what else do you want in life from you friends. I'm hooked, now what to do this year………………naked of course. 🙂
