Anyone any idea what day Holkhams BN day is said in H&E its 7 aug but have seen 14 mentioned so confused
Well BN's website says the 14th and i'm tempted to go with that over H&E but if in doubt give BN a call.

For the sharp eyed members who have spotted we have two beach dates for Holkham beach I would like to confirm that yes we are there twice this year. The first date is the 7th August and the second is 14th August 2011.
Just logged on to BN members area and what did I find -

If you cannot help on the 7th maybe the 14th is an option for you. We need help to get everything to the beach and back again.

Mystery solved.
This gets somewhat bizarre as Mandy at BN emailed me a reply to the question about the dates and told me the 14 was the correct date for the event??
Oh well, If its nice weather, I'll go on both days!!

BN web-site confirms the 14th is now definitely the BN Beach Day at Holkham.
Tomorrow 6th it is BN Beach Day at Budleigh Salterton.
Having look at various emails, and the B.N forum it would seem that the 7th August is the Beach Day at Holkham. There has obviously been some confusion. Unfortunately its not my region so I haven't be tracking events, and have just had a quick dig around.

Did'nt get to yesterdays as I did not get back from Cardiff until 6.30am. Went to bed for a couple of hours, ended up waking up at 12!
High tide times for the 14th are 7.30 am and 8.00pm, so the middle of the day will be open beach territory! 😎
I really hope to make it next week!
