I finished work this afternoon just as the clouds cleared, so made haste to get to Eastney for the first time - I very rarely work anywhere near.

What a gem of a beach! Park the car, walk towards the tower, along the path for barely a hundred yards, turn left, and there it is. Very shingly, for certain, but so is the remainder of the beach and for a naturalist that's the attraction with several plants you only find in such situations.

For this nudist, the attraction is the ease of access, the sound of the waves on the shore, the peace just moments away from houses, caravans and so on, and something else I just can't put my finger on. Today there was just myself and three or four other blokes, all enjoying the late sunshine and, in one brave case, the water.
