Off to Sorrento soon. I have seen a trip advisor report about the naturist beach called Laso di Lara. Has anyone been recently? The report is about eight years old and a lot can change in that time.

I reckon this is very likely to be the same as the Spiaggia di Regina Giovanna. nakedplaces.com says:
Spiaggia della Regina Giovanna is not a proper sandy beach but rather a rocky area of shoreline. For the most part, this area is textile. The most interesting feature is the grotto swimming area next to the ruins of the Roman villa. However, swimsuits are necessary there. If you keep hiking as far as possible, you'll reach a tiny cove where nudity is possible. There is an area of pavement at the shoreline that provides a flat surface for a few sunbathers. This cove typically has just a few nudists and is a fairly minor nudist site, but this is nonetheless a scenic and interesting area to explore.
In it's directions section, it mentions turning off at an American bar, as does the tripadvisor post for Laso di Lara, so I'm fairly sure it is the same place.
I'd recommend taking a look at nakedplaces downloads for Google Earth if you can, as their directions are so useful. They also mention a spot on Capri - the Grotta del Arsenale - if you happen to go that way. I was looking into this as preliminary research for a holiday that never happened, but may happen some day, so please let me know how you get on.

seems to be about the same place.
Thanks for the info.
Always best to get some sort of confirmation.

Just got back from Italy. Turns out that Laso di Lara is actually Lido di Solara. I will put together a full report on a new thread when I have more spare time.
