We have a late holiday booked to Puerto Pollenca at the end of September. Does Anyone know of any clothes optional beaches in that area? I am trying to avoid hiring a car this time so any within walking distance would be great. We enjoy walking so a few miles is not a big problem. I know about a walk along the Boquer valley but not sure if the cove at the end is OK for a a skinny dip?
Hi Bumpkin. As a general rule all Spanish beaches offer a degree of toleration, so you generally can enjoy most of the quieter beaches in Majorca. The nearest naturist beach to you is Son Real Playa, near Can Picafort. My personal favourite is Es Trenc on the south east coast, near Colonia Sant Jordi. It has a isolated undeveloped feel, with golden sand. So it may be worth hiring a car perhaps?

If you have an Android mobile device, I recommend that you install Nudist Compass which is available from the Play Store. It will provide you with information and locations of naturist facilities in the area. My wife & I have been taking our annual nakations in s-e Spain for several years so feel we know most places but this app showed a multitude of places we weren't even aware of.

he beach at Cala Mesquida is lovely. It was the site of a Pontin's Camp when I went in the early 70's, but the Area has now been redeveloped. The beach remains virtually unaltered judging by the photo. on the link Tony C posted on 18 September above/below (No 4). I was a textile at the time but my Brother and I walked the length of the Beach, turning back when we got to the Naturist section. If I'd known then what I know now the family might not have seen much of me all fortnight.
Then again....
The dunes to the beach have now been bridged with a walkway. Enjoy your Holiday!
