I was about the same age when i had my first naturist experience sun bathing nude in my parents garden and despite being caught second time by my neighbour i have remained a sun lover ever since. Joining a naturist club was the best thing i ever did and love meeting and chatting to other like minded people. Happy to chat to anyone and share experiences 🙂

After the first time you discover what you have been missing in previous years - freedom

I first swam naked at age 15 when on a school trip to Yugoslavia, staying on the island of Rab in the Adriatic. It felt great and I loved it and I've hated wearing a swimming costume ever since.

I can remember swimming in the local river at 14 or 15 au natural. It was wonderful but I think we probably did it as a dare rather than some desire to be naturists ( I bet we didn't even know that word existed then)

I first swam naked aged 13 on a secluded-ish beach in the Algarve. The rest of the family was on an excursion that I wasn't interested in, so I just wandered to the beach alone.

I really cannot remember exactly why I "dared" to take off my shorts; I found it quite scary sprinting into the sea to "cover myself" from the very occasional passer-by. But it only took a few minutes of swimming for the doubts and regrets to fade, and to discover swimming au naturel was the best thing ever.
