Just back from a great week on the Costa del Sol, spent 5 out of 7 days on the beach at Benalnatura thanks to the unusually mild December weather 20c most days. Highly recommended beach, 100% nude, quiet and clean. Guess it will be pretty packed in summer as there were up to 70 folks on it last week most days.

I couldn't agree more with you. It's a great beach. We were there last New Year and spent many happy days on the beach.

Just thought it worth an update as we spent 3 days last week on Benalnatura beach. The beach is well used even in January as it is very sheltered and something of a sun trap. It is 100% naked with users including couples, single men and some single women. As far as nationalities are concerned we were aware of Spanish, French and British amongst the users.

Although the bar isn't open this time of year the toilets were and the general area is well maintained.

It is a walk of about 30 minutes along the coast from where we stay in Benalmadena but well worth the effort.

Possibly the nearest is at Costa Natura on the western outskirts of Estepona.

In the other direction - to the east- there is an excellent naturist / clothes-optional beach at Cabopino Playa, Cala Honda (though there can be some unwelcome activity in the dunes behind the beach).

My husband and I spent several pleasant afternoons there over Christmas 2019. It has a kind of hippy vibe which we loved.

It's a pity the bar only opens from April-October or so, but there's a supermarket a twenty minute walk away and a fabulous restaurant right next door.

It's not a long walk from Torremuelle station if you're on public transport.

I got sunburn there, in 2004, despite having sun cream on!

To be fair I don't blame the beach for it! It is a nice place.

We spent 3 days last week on Benalnatura beach. It was our first time back there in over 3 years but still as good as ever. A good mix of people - singles, couples and groups - with a good distribution of the sexes. There was quite a bit of work going on at the bar and terrace. Should be looking good when it opens again in a few months.Although small it remains one of our favourite naturist beaches.
