My first foray into the naturist world was as a 17 year-old passionate about finding new places to swim at during bushwalks along the Australian east coast. Most weekends I would take on trails in national parks near Sydney and hope I would be back in time to catch the train home (invariably getting the "where have you been all day" standard inquisition from mum lol!). On one spectacular day I found a rough track down to an isolated beach within the Royal National Park south of Sydney. After quite a rock scramble and walk through some impressive palm forest, I walked out onto a small very sandy beach with these amazing natural rock pools sculpted out of an eroded rock platform at the beach's southern end. A small number of naturists were there, it was summer so I stripped off, quite without second thought, and dived in the surf. The feeling was rather euphoric, including a swim and greet-and-meet other people there in those natural spa-like rock pools. From that day on I was hooked, returning to enjoy that beach, by a more conventional walking trail route(!), many times over the years, including more recently too...its still there, the people still warm and friendly (although several of the older faces have sadly passed on now), and I will absolutely never forget that first time!

Great to read that Andy and so glad you got the naturist bug! It really is addictive and I just love exploring new places outside nude whenever I can. It's the freedom it gives, not just the freedom of your body outside in the water and sun and wind but also freedom from everyday life. So nice meet others on your travels too. Naturism has become a big part of my life and I just couldn't not do it!

Thanks Dan. Yes, I can fully appreciate your interest in naturism and indeed the feeling of getting away from it, a type of respite from the maddening (madding) crowd, is certainly a big factor in my continue love affair with naturism. It is very addictive and when I am unable to indulge in nudity I find myself getting somewhat stressed. Still, its always a very enjoyable experience when those opportunities arise once again.
