Just come home from Wrekin view sun club, Have to say its a very nice friendly club in Shropshire. Weather over the weekend was dull and rain but the members made us very welcome and made up for the bad weather. Give them a visit I'm sure you will get a warm welcome.   🙂 😉 Chris and Sandra

I love an all over tan

Hi Sandra and Chris, Thank you for your comments, sorry that we were unable to provide better weather for you.
We hope that Sandra is feeling better after her fall and were all relieved that she did not need to go to hospital, although we thought it wise to get an ambulance to the site.

Sorry that you missed the party held for our German visitors on Saturday night. We all look forward to your next visit.

Regards
Rayb

Germans? Ambulances? Naked mishaps? I think we need more details here! ;D

Very simple explanation.

1.  We had German visitors at the club.

2. Another English visitor tripped while getting out of their own motor home.

3. Club members called an ambulance to the site as a precaution in case of head and back injuries.

4 That was the sort of help that we would expect to be given to any visitors to the club in an emergency.

Sorry if the explanation is not as exciting as you hoped.

Another successful year with plenty of visitors and several new members, The latest were a couple from Belgium who were so impressed with the friendly welcome they received, not only by club members but also local farmer  that they took  a promotional poster back to display in their own club and have requested country membership at Wrekin as they wish to return again next year.
There were plenty of visitors comments posted on the website and in the visitors book.
It is unfortunate that we are restricted to 4 caravan/motor home pitches. so booking is important.
It has been nice to have so many NC members visit both local and from quite a distance away.
Thanks for promoting us on the forum

Several members from N C have visited Wrekin View Naturist Club and will have met Brian Williams our secretary.
Brian will be remembered by many others as he was the PRO for CCBN for many years and took part in many radio broadcasts, promoting naturism.
He was one of the founder members of the club 49years ago.

Obituary

It is with very deep regret that Wrekin View  committee have to announce the unexpected and sudden death of one of our founder members - secretary Brian Williams,  aka Big Brian, on 24th December 2011.  We send our heartfelt condolences to Carol and his family.  Carol has requested that she is not contacted at the moment.  Further details will be given, on our website later.

Update:  Big Brian's wife, Carol, insists that the traditional New's Day Bangers & Mash goes ahead as usual.  Brian would have insisted.  She also agreed to the following tribute - such was his presence and popularity.

Big  Brian
Well,  Bri you were larger than life - in every way.
You knew what you wanted - and weren`t  afraid to say!
We would sit on the benches at 11 and 3
for a cup of coffee or a cup of tea.
Your friends all chatting and having a great time ,
Crin was our place;  that`s our only crime.
Brian was known - as the main man of Crin.
Now what happens?  Where will we begin?
Bri you`ll be missed by your Crin families;
but you`ll always belong - here to roam through the trees.

RIP  Bri;  lots of love xxx
