My daughter is getting to that age when she is thinking about having children, and it got me thinking about how to address this if we look after them (as I'm sure we will).
I'm a nudist, my wife was and may be again, but my wife is Ok with me doing naked gardening etc. When we brought our kids up we were nudists and they saw us in the garden naked, we took then to nudist beaches, we spent our holidays naked at our private villa (rented) with pool and went to nudist clubs on occasions. The kids went nude some times but not always - it was up to them. As they got older, they still knew / know I'm a nudist but my daughter gives the impression she and her partner would not go nude even when they have come across nudist beaches.
Now a friend of ours who are not nudists had nudist parents, and they let their parents take their kids on nudist holidays with them and were fine with it, the kids (now late 20s) have an open attitude to nudism.
Has anyone in the same position / gone through this ?
Very interesting. We are a way ahead of you in time terms. ie a 9 month old grandchild but otherwise pretty similar. As he gets older would love to take him on holiday. Not sure how to approach this

I take my Grandchildren to the swim on a regular basis. I also take them with me in my camper for a couple of days. My daughter is a naturist but with 6 children she has difficulty getting away now as she has to look after the ones that are not with me. Her husband is not naturist but is content that I am and there has been talk of him giving it a go. He has the usual male concerns about a misbehaving penis, in spite of reassurances. The oldest grandchild is 12 and going through puberty, he is not so keen on taking his clothes off. Usual teenage problem.
