I am looking for somewhere in the Polperro region as I have booked a cottage down there to head to in July....being from "up north"....thought I would ask to see if anybody could help. Also if there are dog friendly beaches...that would be a bonus as I could stay out the in the (hopefully) sun.

Downderry beach is about 15 miles from Polperro or Vault Beach is about 30 miles in the other direction. Prefer Vault Beach.

Vault beach is excellent, 100% naturist at the far end and always worth the walk as the view from the cliff path is stunning
