First time about 30 years ago on a French beach. Virtually every one naked and a very relaxed environment. A couple of times on an English beach, but far less relaxed; we would have felt more comfortable as part of a group.
A few occasions in the great outdoors. Really invigorating, but you can forget and become unaware of your circumstances! Again, a group may have been better.

Maybe the BN beach day at Eastney (10th August) would be a good one for you to meet & greet other naturists from your area. Then you may well end up with some suitable candidates to meet up with at other times & venues.
Unfortunately we will be away that weekend so will miss it, as well as the Brighton event the day before.

I will add my recommendation for a visit to the B.N beach day at Eastney on the 10th August. I intend to be there myself, having enjoyed the day last year.
