It's good to hear of couples starting so young into the naturist lifestyle. It seems that the majority of people don't even consider trying it until they are over the 40 mark. Then very often as we see so much, it's the guy thats keen & the gal who is either rather reluctant or refuses point blank to join in.
Maybe the secret for younger couples is go to a well known and respected establishment for the first experience. Well done Sue & Mike. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I have a theory about this.

Young people, for all their apparent self-confidence and bravado, are often insecure with their bodies. By the time 30 rolls around, most people are over all their insecurities and hangups. Gravity takes its toll, so what? So they become more relaxed about the whole naturist thing and that's why they'll embrace it more readily than a guy or girl in their teens. At that age a naked body in the company of the opposite sex usually relates to sex and nothing more. They grow up after about 30, realise they're no different than anyone else in possession of one of the two basic models of human body, and there'll always be someone fatter than them on a naturist beach. All we need to do is point people in the direction of nudist beaches for them to realise this.

I agree with Ellie's theory, and it is such a shame because those who get into it later in life tend to regret not doing it much sooner. :-/
