A quiet naturist walking route is to be found near Leominster starting at the Garden of Remembrance at Humber. Take A44 from roundabout on A49 in direction Bromyard. After 1½ miles turn right SP Stoke Prior, Humber, Risbury. After ¾ mile just after 2nd cross roads turn L into Garden of Remembrance. Go down track to car park. Walk south through garden (really a collection of grassy paths and bushes) and once into field go naked and follow paths (probably using OS Explorer Map 202) towards Gob’s Castle (actually a ruined cottage) and Risbury Hill fort. There is a ‘permissive use’ path through the hill fort but be discrete as this is private land and then perhaps circle back towards Gob’s Castle and Humber. There are plenty of other quiet paths in the locality. The Garden of Remembrance is a nice place for discrete sunbathing but be careful not to disturb those who are visiting sites dedicated to their departed lost ones. NB this is NOT a graveyard! It is a very quiet, peaceful and private country location which I think we are looking for on a sunny day.
Hi’
I think that I’ve found a good walking area along the Ridgeway on the Berks/Wilts border. I’m just waiting for better weather to try it out.
