Hi there.
My other half (David) is coming to stay in the UK in early July - he currently lives in the USA.
He has lived over here before and Morfa Dyffryn is one of his favourite spots. So we're planning to head over to North Wales for a couple of days.
We're looking for somewhere to base ourselves, fairly close to the beach but within an easy drive would be good.
Can anyone recommend a good B&B, small hotel or pub with rooms in the area? We want a bit of comfort, good food nearby and maybe even a bit of character.
Thanks 🙂
Rachel.

It might be worth checking out Pentre Mawr Farmhouse B&B:

For many years a large field close to the naturist beach at Morfa Dyffryn - known as 'Glyn's Field' - was used as a rustic campsite. Not naturist as such, but the field is large and Glyn had no objection to discreet naturism around your own tent. Following Glyn's death in 2006, his son Dennis and his wife Sue took over the site, which is now known as Pentre Mawr Camping.
You might wonder where this is going - well a year or so ago we discovered the camping was still naturist friendly and I had a long chat with Dennis. He was relaxed, provided folk were not running around the site naked, but just around their own unit - which was fine by us. Anyway, Dennis and Sue are also owners of the 4-star Wales Tourist Board Highly Commended Pentre Mawr Farmhouse B&B - so obviously well aware of the importance of naturism to the local economy.
I'm not suggesting the B&B provides any opportunity for naturism, but worth considering staying there.
