I remember skinny dipping in a local river as kids, but really it was just a dare. The first time I really enjoyed going nude was in North wales. We found a secluded beach with the only access via the local farm unless you came round over some pretty big rocks from another beach. Out came the sun and off came the clothes. It was wonderful but it was cover up time if anyone came into view.

The first time I really did not care about being seen was in France on the side of a river. I recall thinking, "This really is it" I never looked back and it's no clothes as often as possible. It really is a pity more pople do not take to it, but I think it's a cultural "British reserve" thing.

It is a 'British'culture thing and it is a pity that when abroad people enjoy the experience yet when back home in the UK the subject is tabo

I agree with you both.
It is such a shame that in Britain nudity is synonimous with sex.
I love being naked and in the company of others.  The sense of freedom and at one with oneself in indescribable.
The chances are few and far between though here in the UK especially when you have heavy work commitments.
Even so-called naturist spas are no what they make out to be and I definitely would not feel comfortable attending one alone.

Let's hope the UK grows up soon!
