Fancy a change of life style?
A small naturist camping site in France is up for sale, Les Monts de Bussy: http://www.camping-naturiste-bussy.com/en/
The camping site is in Limousin, about half-way between Paris and Spain. The asking price is 450.000 euros, freehold.
The current owner Bernadette, has been struggling to keep the place running after her partner Alain died. She very much wishes that the camping site can remain naturist.
Lottery tickets purchased 🙂
When I write that "Les Monts de Bussy" is a "small" site, I mean that it is not designed to host many guests: 10 caravans for hire, 20 camping pitches, and that's it - on 25 acres of ground. No overcrowding there: the camping pitches are a minimum 3,000 square feet each. There is a heated swimming pool, but no shop on the grounds - only fresh bread and croissants delivered in the morning -, plus a (fully licenced) bar with a terrace where you can have snacks. Shops are in the village, 2 miles away. The area is hilly, and the grounds reach an altitude of about 1,500 feet (495 m exactly), with a panorama from up there.
It is apparently a very quiet place, with pétanque, table tennis, a library, and two "musical evenings" a year - and that's it. People who go there enjoy the calm, the unspoilt nature etc., but are definitely not looking for busy, hectic vacations.
Unfortunately it is probably difficult to make a living from such a place.
Many thanks for posting the information Jacques!
We haven't been to the site, although it's been on our radar to go there for a while.

Mike, you still have a chance of visiting Les Monts de Bussy: the naturist camping site remains open throughout this season. The lady-owner, Bernadette, stresses that she is in no hurry to sell, and that she will continue running the site until she finds a suitable purchaser - meaning someone who is ready to keep it naturist -, and she is already taking pre-reservations for the 2016 season.

That's good to hear, thanks Jacques. We will not make it on this trip, but perhaps later in the year...
