Hi all
going to spain in my camper this winter and will be traveling up the coast from cadiz to valencia.
i've found loads of beaches to visit from all the post on this site but was wondering on the weather in december and january. Hopefully, i can do most of the trip in the buff  šŸ™‚ but not sure on which area has the best average sunshine.
I'm free to go anywhere and will mostly be wild camping  šŸ™‚
Thanks for any response and ideas šŸ™‚

Although at that time of year nothing is certain with regard to the weather but it can be very nice. We have been on the Costa del Sol around New Year for a number of years and more often than not the weather during the day has been very suitable for sunbathing.

Agree with freebeat that you can get winter sunbathing weather on the Costa del Sol.

Costa de Almeria is reputed to be the warmest and driest region.

Costa Calida and Costa Blanca can also be OK.

No guarantees, but you're in with a reasonable chance of decent warmth. However, expect cool/cold nights and some rain.

A bit out of your reach but lunchtimes in Catalonia  during Januarycan be beautiful for getting the kit off.  Also, a great deal of wild camping goes on at a car park area next to the beach at the Playa de el Torn at LĀ“Hospitalet de lĀ“Infant.
