I was in rhodes on holiday with my then g/f and for a couple of days we would walk along the beach to a nice spot.
The beach was pretty quiet, but each time we walked along it, there was a couple lying there naked.
They seemed so relaxed and carefree that i started thinking, i wish i could do that!
I regularly walked around the house naked anyway so didnt see the harm in trying it.
I talked with my then g/f about it and she was horrified by the idea of taking her clothes off in public.
Anyway, the next day we strolled down to the beach and it was deserted. We were both sitting there and i just thought, what the hell, and removed my shorts.
My first feeling was panic that someone would see me but that soon passed. Then i just felt free if that makes sense?
I spent the rest of the afternoon naked, either reading my book or cooling off in the sea.
I have been looking forward to repeating my experience ever since.

It really is the sense of freedom. What you said does indeed make sense. You might like to join a swim or club now.
